January 9th at 7:30 PM. No scheduled speaker but meeting take place.

February 6th - No regular monthly meeting. Please join many ONHS members at The Catskill Center for Conservation & Development in Arkville for a lecture on Bald Eagles. Senior Wildlife Technician of NYSDEC Region 4, Scott Van Arsdale will present beautiful year round photos and facts regarding the bald eagles of the Catskill Mountains. Lecture is free and open to the public. It begins at 7 PM. The Center is located on Route 28 in Arkville. Please call 845.586.2611 for information/directions.

April 2nd - Please join us as Dr. Charles Dow of the Stroud Water Research Center in Avondale, Pennsylvania will cover the results from the first three years of their monitoring project in the NYC watershed. An annual report for each of the first two years of monitoring is available on Stroud's site: www.stroudcenter.org/research/newyorkproject.htm.

ONHS meetings are held in West Shokan
To reach us from the East: Follow State Route 28 West from Kingston to the village of Boiceville. In Boiceville, turn left on State Route 28A - follow for approximately 5 miles and then turn right onto West Shokan Heights Road. Go up hill, and at the first intersection, turn left and the building is the first one on you left.
To reach us from the West: Follow State Route 28 East past the villages of Phoenicia and Mount Tremper. Once you reach Boiceville, turn right on State Route 28A. Follow that road for approximately 5 miles until you reach West Shokan Heights Road (the second right after the Olive Free Library). Go up the hill, and at the intersection, turn left.
